Frequently asked questions
Short answers about tasks, quick links, and what TaskGPT will not type.
TaskGPT works on the browser tab you already have open. Describe a task and it can fill a form, research the page, run a test, search, apply, or book. It also keeps quick links to AI tools in the same side panel.
No. It does not collect, read, or type passwords or payment details. It does not click Pay, and it does not submit a payment page.
Quick links open the AI sites you already use, with those sites’ own accounts. A task that runs through TaskGPT asks you to sign in with StudyHobby when it needs credits.
They are shortcuts to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. The chat itself stays on that site. TaskGPT does not sit in the middle of that conversation.
A task is sent onward only after you allow it. Password pages and payment pages stay on this device. Saved PDFs and the file index stay on this device too.
TaskGPT is a Chrome extension. It runs in the side panel of the tab you are using.
No. TaskGPT is independent. Names such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok belong to their owners, and each service has its own terms.
It will not sign you in, type a password, or pay. Submit runs only when you ask, and not on a payment page.
